Mediapro is a group of companies in the communications industry that has all the creative personnel and technical systems necessary to create and enable the broadcast of any type of audiovisual product. The Mediapro film department produces feature films and documentaries, and co-produces with Spain's most important film production companies, such as Warner Bros Entertainment Spain, El Deseo, Sogecine, Elías Querejeta and Ensueño Films. Mediapro has also worked with leading international companies including Future Films (UK), JBA Productions and Repérage (France) and Gravier (USA).
With a co-production average of four feature-length films a year, the company co-produces some of the most important titles on the international market. A few such examples are Woody Allen’s Summer Project, and the film Sa Majesté Minor, directed by Jean-Jacques Annaud. The company is currently in talks with Allen to co-produce two more films, one of which will be shot in Europe.
Mediapro also promotes low and mid-budget films with the Spanish film industry’s new talents.
