The T-Mobile New Horizons International Film Festival is the largest film festival in Poland and is considered one of the most important film events in Central Europe. The festival explores new horizons in the language, expression and storytelling of films.

Competitions:

New Horizons International Competition,
International film competition on art,
Polish short film competition,
European Short Film Competition,
"Zoom" competition (made by filmmakers living or studying in the Lower Silesian region): documentaries, fiction, experimental films, animation, video clips, video art and school short films.

Non-competitive sections:

Panorama,
Documentaries / Essays,
Madnight Midness,
The Third Eye: innovative productions made by visual artists,
Country or region centered,
Retrospectives.

Awards

NEW HORIZONS international competition:
Grand Prize and 15,000 euros in cash for the director of the winning film selected by an international jury. The winning film is guaranteed distribution in Poland;
Audience Award: The audience selects the winner. The winning film is guaranteed distribution in Poland;

Catalan Films & TV organizes a shipment of Catalan productions to the festival.
