Videogames and VOD, themes of the Catalan Films & TV conference at the Sitges Festival

For the fourth consecutive year, the consortium for the international promotion of the Catalan audiovisual industry, Catalan Films & TV, will be hosting a number of activities within the framework of the Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia. At the heart of the consortium’s programme is a conference that will be held on 10 October, covering two major themes in today’s audiovisual business models.
Thus, in the morning there will be a round table titled "Internet and Europe: Challenges and opportunities for our cinema", where speakers from different countries including Germany, France, Belgium, Poland, Ireland and Switzerland will be discussing their VOD film distribution and promotion strategies.The second part of the event will be reserved for the fourth videogame conference, which as always, will be co-hosted by Televisió de Catalunya. This afternoon session will be divided into two major sections: "Videogame and audiovisual production" and "Multi-platforms", as new business models.
