As a result of the current situation caused by the pandemic, the In-Edit International Musical Documentary Film Festival of Barcelona 2020 will be broadcast 100% online through In-Edit TV, its Video On Demand platform.
In the Panorama Nacional's Official Section there are three Catalan documentaries and two of them compete for the jury award for Best National Documentary and the audience award, which are: Nou Set Dos by Albert Domènech and Òscar Sánchez (LittleSilk, Televisió de Catalunya) reviews the electronic scene of Girona region during the 80s and 90s and The Mystery of the Pink Flamingo by Javier Polo (Japonica Films, Los Hermanos Polo), a documentary that, through the character of Rigo Pex, the viewer begins a journey to unravel the kitsch icon, the pink flamingo. The third documentary is Love Parade by Dominik Wesseley (Arpa Films, DOCDAYS Productions) . It explains in a journalistic way and through the parents of two of the victims from the tragedy of the electronic music festival Love Parade in Duisburg, Germany in 2010.
Finally, the Short Film Section will be screening Instant per a dos saxos by Guiu Vallvé, competing for the jury award for Best National Young Talent Short Film and also for the audience award for Best Short Film.
