Alex was working in the port of Barcelona, but one day he decided to leave it all and go to live far from the city in a small village in the Pyrenees. His brother Pau and mother Merce lost track of him. But now they’ve heard that Alex has committed suicide. Pau and Merce travel to the village where Alex lived over the past months. There they meet his girlfriend Sara, who, unaware Alex has died, is still waiting for him to collect her, to go to live together in the city; his friend and boss, Emilio, who also decided long ago to make a change of life and live alone in the mountains; and Toni, who works with Emilio and is secretly in love with Sara. Through one other, they each discover a new Alex, and his absence will help them to reassess their own objectives and needs. This mosaic of characters is completed with the arrival of Marta, Emilio’s daughter, who after many years without seeing her father, comes from France to look for him. They are all seeking a new way of life. When they go their separate ways, none of them will be the same.
