synopsis

Directed by Aleix Gallardet, Recognizing Borrell describes the artistic career of abstract painter Alfons Borell (Barcelona 1931). Today, as he approaches the end of his career, the magnitude of his art work and his ideas on creativity become patent before our eyes as we watch him work on a large mural for Barcelona's cultural centre, ''l'Ateneu''.
This documentary also features the commentary of Rosa Ma. Malet, Vicenç Altaió, Miquel Molins, Manel Guerrero, Perejaume, Maria-Josep Balsach and Yves Michaud, among others.
