After the success that 10.000km and Anchor and Hope had in international film festivals, Carlos Marqués-Marcet returns with the film Els dies que vindran. Produced by Lastor Media and Avalon with the participation of ICEC, ICAA, Movistar+ and Televisió de Cataluña, starred David Verdaguer and María Rodríguez. The international premiere will be in the Tiger Competition Section.
The Catalan-french-chile coproduction A Story Without Destiny by Enrique Ramirez and produced by CO-produccionoes, Villa la brugère, CNAP, La noche del ultimo dinosaurio will be screened at the Bright Future Mid-Lenght Competition.
Lluís Miñarro premieres his new film Love me not produced by himself and the mexican Piano Producciones at the Signatures section. The film is supported by ICEC, EFIZINE and TV3-Televisió de Catalunya.

The International Premiere of Karelia: Internacional with Monument (directed and produced by Andrés Duque) will be at the Voices Section together with the last Isaki Lacuesta's film Between Two Waters (La Termita Films, Bteam Pictures, Mallerich Films , Bord Cadre Films Sarls, All Go movies, Studio Indie Productions).
Finaly, two short film have been selected at the festival. One at the Voices Short Section: Don't wake me up by Sara Fantova (ESCAC Films) and The eyes empty and the pupils burning with rage and desire by Luis Macías at the Bright Future Short Section.
In addition, Catalan producers will take part at IFFR Pro and Cinemart, the coproduction market attached to the festival.
Also, thanks to the agreement between Catalan Films & TV and IFFR, two Catalan professionals have been selected for Rotterdam Lab, a lab for young producers. Our 'labbies are' Gerard Rodriguez from Japonica Films and Andrea H. Catalá from Amor y Lujo.
