Catalan participation at the Rotterdam International Film Festival

CF&TV colaborates once again with the coproduction market Cinemart

Six Catalan films have been selected for the Rotterdam International Film Festival which will be held from 22nd of January to 2nd of February. Also, Catalan Films & TV is collaborating with its coproduction market, Cinemart.

Stella Cadente, directed by Lluís Miñarro (Eddie Saeta) will compete in the official Tigers Awards Competition.

The Bright Future Section will be screening the documentary Sobre la marxa / The Creator of the Jungle by Jordi Morató (Termita Films) and the feature film La distancia , by Sergio Caballero (Arcadia Motion Pictures, Advanced Music), which is also competing for The Big Screen Competition. Moreover, shortfilm Ancha es Castilla/N’importe quoi (Advanced Music) also directed by Sergio Caballero will compete in The Tiger Shorts Competition.

The State of Europe – EU-29, Grand Tour section includes Història de la meva mort / The Story of my Death by Albert Serra (Andergraun Films).

Finally, documentary short film Godka Cirka directed by Àlex Lora adn Antonio Tibaldi (Inicia Films) will participate in the Spectrum Shorts section.

Furthermore, eight catalan companies will be attending the coproduction market Cinemart. The CineMart staff also organises The Rotterdam Lab, a 5-day training workshop for young and emerging producers designed to build up their international network and their experience at an international festival and market. Two catalan companies (Cornelius Films and Inicia Films) have been selected to attend the Rotterdam Lab.
