Abril, a mature and insecure woman, lives with Jorge, an attractive and complacent twenty-something, who would be the perfect boyfriend if he were real. But Jorge is just a mental, idealised projection of Abril's ex-boyfriend, created by Abril herself when he left her two decades ago.
Her peculiar world explodes when the ex-boyfriend reappears in her life, and after spending the night together, she finds him dead in her bed. Convinced that Jorge killed him, she is forced to get rid of the body. Together they embark on a nocturnal adventure in which, if Abril wants to hide the crime and keep her sanity, she will also have to get rid of Jorge, who seems determined to take over her mind.
